Do Not Waist Your Breath When The Enemy Tries To Scare You
2Ki 18:30 Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.
2Ki 18:33 Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered at all his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?
2Ki 18:34 Where are the gods of Hamath, and of Arpad? where are the gods of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah? have they delivered Samaria out of mine hand?
2Ki 18:35 Who are they among all the gods of the countries, that have delivered their country out of mine hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of mine hand?
2Ki 18:36 But the people held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king's commandment was, saying, Answer him not.
We read the Assyrian King, was telling the Jewish people, do not let your King make you trust in the lord.
This sounds insane , but it is what the enemy tries to do, by people, the flesh, the Devil and circumstances, Like Jobs wife who said, ‘just curse God and die’, this is the way many think.
The first thing we learn is the word TRUST. The enemy says you cannot trust the lord, we are more powerful, we are the mighty ones, we have a track record, to date no nation and no god, has delivered them from our hands, so who is this god you think will deliver you, answer Jehovah the almighty, unlike all other Gods, that’s who.
When David confronted Goliath, David said, ' You come with weapons and blaspheme the name of the lord, I come with the power and in the name of the lord and you are going down big man'. (paraphrase)
The threats by evil, they have always been heard, they echo through History and they speak now.
Jesus spoke not a word, the people were told not to speak back not a word to these evil fear mongers. We are not to talk with the enemy of our soul; we must put to death the fear of the flesh.
We serve the almighty, we know we are in his hands, we have trust he will deliver. The whole bible is filled with promises to trust. Simple, yet powerful Trust, it combats fear, and stops us from shaking at every word we hear.
Many may say,' You call yourself a Christian , look at what you just did, look at what you just said, on and on these evil ones speak.
The N.T. teaches us a lot about being silent when cursed, we are to return it with a blessing, we are told, do not retaliate with words when spoken evil of, commit your self to the lord you trust , as he alone is judge.
The enemy always tries to give you their resume, laugh at it, toss it out and rejoice, because the lord will protect you, justify you, bless you and take your enemies down.
We all face giants, many are of our own making, but we can also take them down with one word, Jesus.
The lord keeps impressing on me to tell the remnant bride to fear not. I just recorded a sermon, called, ‘The Last Tear To Fall In History', the cam on the PC, a new one, simply came out so bad, the voice was worse than an overdubbed Godzilla movie LOL.
I am working on the issue and almost have it fixed, I had to trash the sermon, but will re-record it, as it is a good word, and anointed for the brides eyes and ears only.
The call, Trust, the outcome Faith, the giant that falls, fear.
