No Person Is An Island To Themselves, But If Your On The Wrong Island Start Swimming As Fast As You Can

Jud 1:19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

Arrogant setting up of themselves, as having greater sanctity and a wisdom and peculiar doctrine, distinct from others, is implied.

Jude is talking about what you will learn in this message, I start with the result and work backwards to who these ones are Jude is speaking of.

Understand that these ones have ended up setting themselves up as Super Apostles, Super Teachers, Those that think they know it all and are the only truth.

Note, they are arrogant, they set themselves up and not Jesus, they feel they are more sanctified and have more wisdom, but take special note of the words, Peculiar Doctrine, distinct from others.

Webster on this word Peculiar;

PECU'LIAR, a. [L. peculiaris, from peculium, one's own property, from pecus, cattle.]

1. Appropriate; belonging to a person and to him only. Almost every writer has a peculiar style. Most men have manners peculiar to themselves.

2. Singular; particular. The man has something peculiar in his deportment.

3. Particular; special.

4. Belonging to a nation,system or other thing, and not to others.

PECU'LIAR, n. Exclusive property; that which belongs to a person in exclusion of others.

1. In the canon law, a particular parish or church which has the probate of wills within itself, exempt from the jurisdiction of the ordinary or bishop's court.

Court of peculiars, in England, is a branch of the court of arches. It has jurisdiction over all the parishes dispersed through the province of Canterbury, in the midst of other dioceses, which are exempt from the ordinary jurisdiction, and subject to the metropolitan only.

DOCTRINE, n. [L., to teach.]

1. In a general sense, whatever is taught. Hence, a principle or position in any science;
whatever is laid down as true by an instructor or master. The doctrines of the gospel are the principles or truths taught by Christ
 and his apostles. The doctrines of Plato are the principles which he taught. Hence a doctrine may be true or false;
 it may be a mere tenet or opinion.

2. The act of teaching.

He taught them many things by parables, and said to them in his doctrine. Mark 4.

3. Learning; knowledge.

Whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Isa 28.

4. The truths of the gospel in general.

That they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things. Titus 2.

5. Instruction and confirmation in the truths of the gospel. 2 Tim 3.

Note what he said,
A doctrine may be true or false; it may be a mere tenet or opinion.

That is why we read so much esp. in the Pastoral Epistles concerning sound doctrine, it must be 100% backed up by the word, not an opinion, not something taught by a false teaching and made into a truth, sound doctrine is sound, correct, biblical.

So who are these super elite so called Christians Jude is writing about, lets look.

Jud 1:9  Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Jud 1:10  But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

Jud 1:11  Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Jud 1:12  These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

Jud 1:13  Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

These people and their doctrines had to be exposed as Jude wanted to write about a good, happy subject, but the Spirit of the lord constrained him to write other wise.

Jud 1:3  Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

I feel that way a lot, as I said, I did not call myself or my calling I am in, the lord did, and it is not popular, but it is truth in mercy.

Ye should earnestly contend for the faith, which was once delivered unto the saints.

Note the doctrine, the faith, in the Greek meaning the core doctrines of the Christian faith, beliefs. This had to be spoken on, do to these who I will now write on.

 We see these ones with us today, all over.

In a nutshell, Jude is talking about our modern day neo-charismatics and those in so called deliverance ministries. Pentecostals are at fault for railing on the devil and demons, they say many, many words ‘I rebuke and bind you devil in the name of Jesus, you fowl spirit, I take authority over you, get out you fowl spirit I rebuke you and take authority over you.

In Pentecost esp. Neo Charismatic circles we hear them speak this way often, maybe some readers pray and shout like this, it is 100% non biblical, I wrote on proper bible rebuking of Satan, but so few understand it.

 Jude is saying these people who talk this way, that rail on spirits is not good, they feel they are better and have more authority than others, you can tell just by the way they speak, being loud is not the anointing that breaks yokes, you can and should at times be loud and give a shout, with the shout of praise and victory, we do not shout at the devil as Jude is teaching, we are to simply say, the lord rebuke you, notice no where does he say the word I, I rebuke you, think on this.

Woe, Judgment unto them , they have gone the way of Cain, the way of Cain is a lucifarian doctrine, a freemason illuminati doctrine, they call themselves descendents of Cain, the first murderer and rightly so, to be of the spirit of Cain is all about the doctrine of demons.

Notice they feed themselves with out fear Vs 12.

 This is a fake no fear, they fear nothing, just wait and see. They are steeped in false doctrine and are in a higher, more secret place with special revelations and doctrines that they teach, but not fond in the word.

They are like clouds with out water, this means of no use, they are light, false and carried about by winds, meaning every self made , man made wind of doctrine.

Being carried farther and farther from the truth of the word, and off to the next new thing.

Next, it says,

 Trees whose fruit withered, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

That is a powerful and serious statement, fruitless, twice dead, not just once dead, but so false and reprobate they are twice dead. We know a tree by its fruits not gifts, and these ones not only have no fruit, but what they have has withered and is twice dead.

Jud 1:10  But these speak evil of those things which they know not:...

They speak of things they do not even know about, that is odd, but true, they think they know, yet according to the word and the fruit of the spirit, they know nothing, all they know is false, and many are blinded to the point of no return.

Many follow these people, just look at TBN and see the money flow in as millions follow these false prophets and teachers that follow every new doctrine.

 Every new false revival just deludes the pure gospel truths, they know nothing, but think they know it all, they say I had a dream, a vision, a prophecy, they have heard nothing, but a lie from the king of lies and push it off as some new thing, it is strange fire beloved, do not get burned by these ones Jude is warning us about.

Jud 1:13  Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

1. Raging waves of the sea

2. Foaming out their own shame

3. Wandering stars

4.  To whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

Like waves that rage in the sea, they make a big splash and roll in great waves, nothing more than noise, false noise, but noise it is.

Waves once they reach a shore and settle we see a foam, it is caused by the raging waves, the foam is wiped up air, from the noisy waves, just foam, no substance, no meat, milk, fruit, useless foam as the useless clouds with out rain, just plain useless in the true things of the lord.

Wandering stars, how many Christian stars do we see? How many sites with self made stars built on false doctrine and nothing more, as I said blind leaders of the blind, wondering as these do, never settled in and committed to any truth, just wandering around from every new wave of doctrine, every new dream, every new vision and no true, Thus saith the lord.

These will one day be fallen stars, which are reserved for blackness and darkness forever, hell. That is many of these ones destination.

We can now see why Jude started out this short epistle with an exhortation to be sound in the faith, sound in doctrine, because the ones who are an island to themselves are doom to hell if they do not repent.

 I honestly think after and during the judgments many will repent and return to spiritual sanity, but most will not, because they have deep dark secrets and they have a special phone line to the lord the rest of us do not, this is insane, we all have access, and we must use it, read the word, and expose these wolves in sheep’s clothing for who they are and what they teach, we must stay the course in sound orthodox doctrines handed down by the Apostles, written by the Holy Spirit, and watch unto prayer against the invasion and deception that abounds on the air waves and on the net.

 We are called to earnestly Contend for the faith, contend, as we read can mean argue, with passion, reason with others, but never give one inch to, do not listen to or heed these false teachers that we are in this epistle warned of.

If you wake up to truth and find you have been visiting ten wrong sites, listening to the wrong preachers, attending church that teaches false doctrine, and it is an island, start to swim as fast as you can and get out as soon as possible, it could cost you your eternal soul.

I did this message last night, this early AM I read Myers devotional and it has three personal confirmations, one about this message, the other we are the lords Jewel, posted recent, and the video sermon I will be recording ASAP and it is on praise all confirmed, I love when the lords give a confirmation and he is saying, yes, by two or three witnesses is my word confirmed, so I know it is from the lord amen

"Whoso is wise and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the Lord."-- Psa_107:43.

THERE ARE many ways of understanding the lovingkindness or mercy of the Lord. We may know it as a matter of doctrine. The best way of increasing our knowledge of God's infinite nature, is by the reverent study of His Word. It is a flimsy religion which discounts doctrine. What the bones are to the body, doctrine is to our moral and spiritual life. What law is to the material universe, doctrine is to the spiritual. The doctrines of grace are the jewelled foundations of a holy life. Seek the ministry that builds on them; read the books that acknowledge them! We may know it by meditation. Would that we yielded more silent hearts to the Holy Spirit, that He might fix our vagrant thoughts on the love of Christ that passeth knowledge! The love that loved us in Eternity, that has never let us go in Time, and that has shown its uttermost intensity by the wounds of Calvary! We may also know it sympathetically. Kepler, the great astronomer, exclaimed one day: "I have been thinking over again the earliest thoughts of God"; and surely every time we sacrifice ourselves for others, or carry another's cross, in the glow of a warm heart, we are feeling a tiny pulsation of His love.
Do we sufficiently praise God for His lovingkindness and truth? We are keen to pray, to cry out for help, but do we stop to enumerate the mercies and to render praise for them? "Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!" (Psa_107:8, Psa_107:15, Psa_107:21, Psa_107:31). How often I have awoke tired and out-of-heart, the harp on the willows, the soul like a lark beaten down by an east wind; and when the usual Bible-study has failed to grip, or prayer has seemed cold and mechanical, the disconsolate heart has started to praise, to give thanks for mercies received, and to adore the majesty and glory of God. As one has thus continued, the soul has thawed, the spirit has found wings, the horizon has cleared, and the angel-song has broken in with its Hallelujah! We are thus transported into the Divine Presence-Chamber; we have obtained joy and gladness, our night is gone, and "sorrow and sighing have fled away."

Father, Thou hast loved us; Thou dost love us; Thou wilt love us for evermore. Thy love passes knowledge. It is like a warm, sunlit ocean enwrapping the tiny islet of my life. I bathe in it, but can never reach its limits. I thank Thee for its depths and lengths. AMEN.
