1Ch 16:32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
1Ch 16:33 Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth.
Rom 8:21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
Groaneth - travaileth together (συστενάζει - συνωδίνει)
Both only here in the New Testament. The simple verb ὠδίνω to travail, occurs Gal_4:19, Gal_4:27; Rev_12:2; and the kindred noun ὠδίν birth-pang, in Matthew and Mark, Acts, and 1Th_5:3. See on Mar_13:9; see on Act_2:24.
Together refers to the common longing of all the elements of the creation, not to its longing in common with God's children. “Nature, with its melancholy charm, resembles a bride who, at the very moment when she was fully attired for marriage, saw the bridegroom die. She still stands with her fresh crown and in her bridal dress, but her eyes are full of tears”
We read in the first few chapters of Gen, the creation, we often read," And The Lord God saw it and he said it was good, or is good". The lords first creation is the second type of bride, but it was the first created. It has no soul, or breath, but it is fully alive in some way we do not understand.
The creation is in the birth pains, it hurts the trees, the seas, everything, it is in pain, soon the second bride will be in pain, it is now, but it will become much worse. I am not talking tree hugging, or caring about saving a sea creature while millions of baby's are killed. The message is this.
Our lord eye is on the sparrow, true? Why? He created that bird, God loves his creation, we , the second bride are of much more worth, but the birds and sea life , the earth being destroyed by man and the birth pains is just that, pain inducing upon that which our lord created. Creation, and man , before the fall of Adam and Eve, were in perfect harmony, the creation misses that. It is pain.
This points to the key thought, the love of our Creator for ALL he created. If he loves , feels the pain of his earth, if it groans in pain waiting for the lord to come at the consummation and of the lords creation. Back to Eden.
The point, If God loves and cares for his other type of bride with no eternal soul, how much does he care for his holy bride that is in his image and has an eternal soul? The answer is easy is it not.
Let us learn a lesion from the other bride, and let us embrace the truth we are his first love as he is to be our first love, we aline are in his image, not a bird, yet he sees, cares and loves, how can we turn our hearts cold towards a God with love of that magnitude?
People do everyday, it makes you wonder how? the god of this world has them in bondage, they are taken to the depths of sin and hell and are happy there, or do not want out. The love of God is the coming Judgment, our text verse says it, why? It is when he restores everything back to the way he created it.
The way VWS, put the creation, as a weeping, waiting bride in pain, really hit me, yet what hits me more is the lord that weeps over his self indulgent, unloving, un -grateful holy bride in stained garments, and happy with it.
What a might God we serve, there is no one like ABA father, he and he alone is God of God's how can we walk away and put back on the grave cloths?
