Mat 10:26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

Mat 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father:
Mat 10:30 but the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Mat 10:31 Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Mat 10:32 Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven.

Mat 10:34 Think not that I came to send peace on the earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Mat 10:35 For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law:

Fearless Confessors of Christ
The more Christlike we are, the more certainly shall we incur the dislike and hatred of men. Only let us take care that they hate us, not on account of our personal peculiarities and pretensions, but solely for the truth’s sake. See 1Ki_22:8; Dan_6:5.
Christ is often speaking. In the secret chamber of the heart, in the darkness of the night, in the shadowed room of pain and sorrow, in the room which holds all that is mortal of our beloved, hear His voice. It may be in dark sayings, but they are “the dark sayings on a harp,” of which the psalmist sings. There are music, tenderness, love-notes in these dark sayings. And our hearts can receive lasting impressions in the dark.
Remember that in all your anxiety and pain, the Father is near. His presence encloses you in its gentle, holy embrace. You are of value to Him, of more value than you can count, because you were purchased with the precious blood of Christ.
We have all read this text, about Jesus sending out the 12. I was in an abandoned building looking for scrap items, buckets, anything, I found a portion of the bible laying on the floor, way, way out in the middle of nowhere, and there it was. Matt Ch 9-18. I was just reading it, and some new things spoke to me. The word truly is alive and active, we can read the same chapter our whole life and the holy Spirit can illuminate a part, a verse, a few words to us.
I read what Meyer had to say about this text, and I was moved, he spoke to my heart.
That is deep stuff what he said, reflect on it, read and re-read it.
It was not the sending of the 12 that spoke to me, but what I was touched with was the truth of dark sayings in music, and how they are notes of love, a holy embrace, how the lord values each of us, and in dark times. The secret prayer closet, in all our anxiety and pain the Father is near. It may be all dark clouds in your life today, but the SON is always shinning.
We also can not take it personal when people think we are crazy or of the devil, they thought the same of our master, the one who sends each of us out to proclaim the gospel, and the dark secrets we have been given in our pain. Yes, we are to be fearless confessors of Christ, we are not to fear man, we are not to fear the birth pains, we are not to fear the trials and troubles in life, they only make us stronger and more humbly Bold.
