A Prophetic Word The Lord Gave Me, One Word, Apathy
This prophetic word, insight , given on Aug 27 2012
I was praying and agonizing over the situations going on world wide, for the remnant world wide, the coming persecution, the ongoing persecutions, and Judgments, mostly the fact it is now clear, due to all these things, men’s hearts have become cold, and are in fear looking at all the things happening in the world.
I was not in fear, it was anguish for others to wake up, wake up, I asked the lord concerning the worldwide church and my own ministry.
I said lord, “I am speechless, I just do not understand what the problem is, getting some fire under people, motivating others to excellence, doing something, becoming part of something, heeding sound doctrine , what is it”, The lord answered me plainly and directly , He said, "Apathy"
I know it comes from the Greek as you will read below, I was not understanding what the lord was saying, again, “Apathy, apathy, it is all do to apathy, people are afraid, they have become cold hearted, segregated by their own beliefs, it is to late my son, for many have made their choice, but continue on until there is no internet, forge ahead and continue what you are doing, if for that one soul , that one person that can hear, listen well, read and understand”
The definition to apathy has the revelation, as you read it, you will understand.
Apathy, this is why no one cares, gets involved, live in fear, or do not care, because they cannot handle it, or they are unaffected for now, that will soon change, all will be in chaos, when the economy tanks and the famine comes it will effect the most comfortable places on earth so hold on, it is coming to your door, soon.
Others chose to opt out of any activity because a feeling of apathy, a hopelessness, they can not get involved, do anything.
Judgment is on us so what can I do, (you may think), the answer a lot, but many are not doing anything for the lord, many are afraid, many have give up, many have been so busy they have no time for the lord, his word, prayer, and so they are out of the loop and their life is filled with apathy.
Apathy is also do to the change in gospel preaching, it is not what it once was, little by little, over many years the Church has died, its preachers are dead.
When some hear good bible preaching, real watchmen and bold men of God, they say, it is out dated , fire and brimstone preaching, and is not relevant to today’s problems, that’s the problem, its the only thing that is relevant, the only way out of apathy, it is the true word of the lord, sound doctrine, strong preaching, bold, bible preaching, what changed, the church and people changed not the holy God.
He love, he cares, but he is the same, he is holy he has not changed, the christians have, theology has, the church has no power, most Christians have no power, all because of apathy.
Dear reader, return to your first love and get back to the word and prayer, get on fire for the lord again, and become filled, or renewed, but take that step.
Apathy what it is, what it means.
Apathy (also called impassivity or perfunctoriness) is a state of indifference, or the suppression of emotions such as concern, excitement, motivation and passion. An apathetic individual has an absence of interest in or concern about emotional, social, spiritual, philosophical and/or physical life.
They may lack a sense of purpose or meaning in their life. He or she may also exhibit insensibility or sluggishness. In positive psychology, apathy is described as a result of the individual feeling they do not possess the level of skill required to confront a challenge (i.e. "Flow"). It may also be a result of perceiving no challenge at all (e.g. the challenge is irrelevant to them, or conversely, they have learned helplessness). In light of the insurmountable certainty of universal doom, apathy is the default mode of existential nihilism.
Etymology-Although the word apathy is derived from the Greek ἀπάθεια (apatheia), it is important not to confuse the two terms. Also meaning "absence of passion," "apathy" or "insensibility" in Greek, the term apatheia was used by the Stoics to signify a (desirable) state of indifference towards events and things which lie outside one's control (that is, according to their philosophy, all things exterior, one being only responsible for his representations and judgments).
History and other views, Christians have historically condemned apathy as a deficiency of love and devotion to God and His works; this interpretation of apathy is also referred to as Sloth and is listed among the Seven Deadly Sins. Clemens Alexandrinus used the term to draw to Christianity philosophers who aspired after virtue. Macaulay, referred to "The apathy of despair."Prescott described "A certain apathy or sluggishness in his nature which led him . . . to leave events to take their own course."
In 1950, US novelist John Dos Passos wrote: "Apathy is one of the characteristic responses of any living organism when it is subjected to stimuli too intense or too complicated to cope with. The cure for apathy is comprehension." US educational philosopher Robert Maynard Hutchins summarized the concerns about political indifference when he claimed that the "death of democracy is not likely to be an assassination from ambush. It will be a slow extinction from apathy, indifference, and undernourishment."
There you have the meaning, I gave the antidote, return to your first love and get out of apathy, the hour is late and it is not time, nor do we have time, to be in a spirit or mindset of apathy. It will kill the spiritual life you once lived, come back, return, the lord has not moved, you have, get back in the loop, get on board with what the lord is doing, you have taken enough time off, time to get back in the saddle and move ahead.
