Old Testament Birth pain, This One, When The Glory Departs A Look At Ichabod, Kabod, Shekinah

I have given messages on similitudes in the O.T. concerning birth pains, there are many, this message is the same, but different, it deals with the lords presence, and hedge of protection being taken away, captive by the enemy, the enemy is now hard at work to capture and steal what the Christian has, many have, many have not- in the Church with all its false doctrine it is ICHABOD.
The glory departs from a nation when sin is being judged.

Hawker said on the word Ichabod;

This name was given by a dying mother, in the moment of her departure, to her new-born-son. The sense is, "the glory is departed, or alas! the glory; from Kabod, glory." (1Sa_4:19 etc.) What a solemn question ariseth out of the subject—On how many places may the word Ichabod be written?

Note the word has Kabod in it and signifies the end of the Kabod glory on a nation and a people.
Kabod means;

כָּבֹד כָּבוֹד
kâbôd kâbôd
kaw-bode', kaw-bode'
From H3513; properly weight; but only figuratively in a good sense, splendor or copiousness: - glorious (-ly), glory, honour (-able).

Kabod is the glory that comes in weight, the priest could not stand, or enter the tabernacle because the Kabod glory of Jehovah was so great and present, this shows us no man can stand on his feet when the Kabod falls. When the Kabod falls we fall, the real Kabod not a fake out pouring. It could be a falling, humbling in heart and not a literal falling down, in this area the false Charismatics have done a great job with the Kundalini spirit, and false deception. I mean this, when John was on Patmos he fell as one dead. This is humbling self in the power,and presence of the lord, the flesh can not handle the real Kabod

Glory In Hebrew is;

A primitive root; to be clear (originally of sound, but usually of color); to shine; hence to make a show; to boast; and thus to be (clamorously) foolish; to rave; causatively to celebrate; also to stultify: - (make) boast (self), celebrate, commend, (deal, make), fool (-ish, -ly), glory, give [light], be (make, feign self) mad (against), give in marriage, [sing, be worthy of] praise, rage, renowned, shine.

Note this is but one of the Hebrew words for Glory

This takes us to the other Glory we know -the Shekinah glory.

What does the word “Shekinah” mean? It’s not in the Bible and so why do we need to know what this word means regarding God’s glory? The work Shekinah is from the Hebrew word “shekinot” and actually is in the Bible where God is said to “settle in” or “dwell with.” This word means where God is dwelling, settling or where His Divine Presence is. This glory is seen when God’s glory filled the Temple and even in the wilderness where He was a light during the night and the Shekinah cloud of His glory shaded Israel in the scorching sun of the desert. His presence was manifested by the intense light that filled the Tabernacle, the Temple in Jerusalem and even in the Transfiguration on the Mount where Jesus shone brighter than the sun when He spoke with Moses and Elijah as we shall read about later.

Jesus partially revealed His Shekinah glory on a mountain and allowed Peter, James and John to see this glory. This is why the Apostle John said that Jesus “dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father” (John 1:14) and that Jesus is “the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John (the Baptist). He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him” (John 1:4-7). Jesus being the very essence and nature of God as light and that is part of His Shekinah glory which was why John said “we have seen his glory.” The Transfiguration is where Jesus allowed James, John, and Peter to see His glory in Matthew 17:1-8.

ISBE on Shekinah

shḗ-kı̄´na (שׁכינה, shekhı̄nah, “that which dwells,” from the verb שׁכן, shākhēn, or שׁכן, shākhan, “to dwell,” “reside”): This word is not found in the Bible, but there are allusions to it in Isa_60:2; Mat_17:5; Luk_2:9; Rom_9:4. It is first found in the Targums. See GLORY.

In our text chapter, below in full, we read of the Glory of the lord departing. It tells us today the nation is no longer under the lords presence but his chastisement, the walls are already down, and we will see many thing that will show the Glory of the lord in Judgment, to the bride you will see the Glory again in a powerful way, I say this , because nothing short of it would be our doom.
I do not mean just signs, wonders, miracles, I mean the abiding powerful, protection presence of the lord on and in his bride. The key is his presence, the lords literal dwelling and abiding, now it is by the Holy Spirit and the Blood of Christ, Oh that we may know as Paul said, “That I may know the power of his excellency-The power of the resurrection, this was the power,m glory of Jehovah that raised Jesus from the dead, yes Jesus is fully alive to anyone that wants his presence.

Everyone will see the Lord someday in all His splendor, majesty and Shekinah glory and all will fall down before Him and bend the knee. Some will do so willingly as He is their Lord and Savior and King but for others, He will be their Judge and send them off into eternal torment (Rev 20:11-15). God cannot dwell where there is unconfessed sin or where someone has never repented and trusted in Christ. You decide today which of two places you will go. That day to decide cannot be put off because today is the day of salvation (2 Cor 6:2) or it will be the day of condemnation (John 3:18).

The presence of Jesus Christ is so real, if you have not tasted it, experienced the real deal, the free gift, you do not know what your missing.
The Church has allowed the enemy in to take it's Glory away, the truth, power and majesty of the lord.

This is why most Churches do not even understand Judgment, glory, the lord is the same today as in the N.T. he is looked at as a past experience, this has made the church a fruitless Church a powerless Church, you reader, you are accountable for your own walk, do not let anyone steal from you the gift of the Holy Spirit. It can be yours today.

I have said about 'The Coming Second Exodus' we will, must, see the real Glory of God or we will die, I know we will see it, we have at times, it has come and gone, when it is time it will come and not go, if you do not fall into sin.

If you do not turn on your loved ones and ones you know in the Church.
The day is on us when we can trust no one, but we must, we must, trust in a people, a person, as said in the above post, power in numbers, no fear, the lord will not lie, or confuse you, this is your own mind and fear.

I gave a few emails out today, and the lord had the same word, put food and water away NOW! great events are on us, America is about to be no longer, it is time to get serious, use what funds you have in wisdom, get things NOW, get right with God Now, do all NOW it will soon be to late.

Help those around you, help ministries like this one, make your money count for something. Get hings for your house, if you do not your tempting the lord to show signs and wonders before His time, they will come when they are called for.

Many do not understand this principle, give, put aside, prudent foresight and prayer, above all prayer. I can say many are not praying, or we and others would see help. Its been years one person, look, the time is now, it is high time to set up more in your heavenly bank account, but many say, 'I do not believe all this', listen that matters not, you just need to be in tune with the lord, if you are you are awake to whats going on, so, so many head in sand Christians it is astonishing to me. The fall of America, economic collapse is real, scoffers, they laugh, they scorn, they hoard, and soon they will starve.

I pray you are awake, you are getting ready so you are not tempting God to provide something when you can get it now, the collapse is right ahead, WW3, and many things, I tell you it is on us, the Glory of our nation has departed, our nation is open to any and all attacks it is the way, history proves this point, over and over, so reader what will you do? Keep on not believing, laughing it all off?

I pray you wake up and Ichabod is not on your house, in your heart, but the kabod and shekinah glory are.

I end with the chapter, our the text, may the lord move hearts today, move, wake up many who are asleep, or simply do not believe in any of this, we have been warned and in love told of things to come.

1Sa 4:1 And the word of Samuel came to all Israel. Now Israel went out against the Philistines to battle, and pitched beside Ebenezer: and the Philistines pitched in Aphek.

1Sa 4:2 And the Philistines put themselves in array against Israel: and when they joined battle, Israel was smitten before the Philistines: and they slew of the army in the field about four thousand men.

1Sa 4:3 And when the people were come into the camp, the elders of Israel said, Wherefore hath the LORD smitten us to day before the Philistines? Let us fetch the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of Shiloh unto us, that, when it cometh among us, it may save us out of the hand of our enemies.

1Sa 4:4 So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from thence the ark of the covenant of the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth between the cherubims: and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.

1Sa 4:5 And when the ark of the covenant of the LORD came into the camp, all Israel shouted with a great shout, so that the earth rang again.

1Sa 4:6 And when the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said, What meaneth the noise of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews? And they understood that the ark of the LORD was come into the camp.

1Sa 4:7 And the Philistines were afraid, for they said, God is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore.

1Sa 4:8 Woe unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods? these are the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness.

1Sa 4:9 Be strong, and quit yourselves like men, O ye Philistines, that ye be not servants unto the Hebrews, as they have been to you: quit yourselves like men, and fight.

1Sa 4:10 And the Philistines fought, and Israel was smitten, and they fled every man into his tent: and there was a very great slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen.

1Sa 4:11 And the ark of God was taken; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain.

1Sa 4:12 And there ran a man of Benjamin out of the army, and came to Shiloh the same day with his clothes rent, and with earth upon his head.

1Sa 4:13 And when he came, lo, Eli sat upon a seat by the wayside watching: for his heart trembled for the ark of God. And when the man came into the city, and told it, all the city cried out.

1Sa 4:14 And when Eli heard the noise of the crying, he said, What meaneth the noise of this tumult? And the man came in hastily, and told Eli.

1Sa 4:15 Now Eli was ninety and eight years old; and his eyes were dim, that he could not see.

1Sa 4:16 And the man said unto Eli, I am he that came out of the army, and I fled to day out of the army. And he said, What is there done, my son?

1Sa 4:17 And the messenger answered and said, Israel is fled before the Philistines, and there hath been also a great slaughter among the people, and thy two sons also, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead, and the ark of God is taken.

1Sa 4:18 And it came to pass, when he made mention of the ark of God, that he fell from off the seat backward by the side of the gate, and his neck brake, and he died: for he was an old man, and heavy. And he had judged Israel forty years.

1Sa 4:19 And his daughter in law, Phinehas' wife, was with child, near to be delivered: and when she heard the tidings that the ark of God was taken, and that her father in law and her husband were dead, she bowed herself and travailed; for her pains came upon her.

1Sa 4:20 And about the time of her death the women that stood by her said unto her, Fear not; for thou hast born a son. But she answered not, neither did she regard it.

1Sa 4:21 And she named the child Ichabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel: because the ark of God was taken, and because of her father in law and her husband.

1Sa 4:22 And she said, The glory is departed from Israel: for the ark of God is taken.
