“What's up with Jesus ?”
Today's society, as with all people reacting as a whole are not intelligent, but with the individual we see rationality and clear thinking. It's hard to believe that we as Americans come from a continent that was founded by Christians and theologians, yes theologians, our four fathers as they are spoke of in the history books tell us that they were theologians.
Christopher Columbus estimated the size of the Atlantic Ocean partially from reading his Bible, that is what brought him to find this country. As the decades pass, our Christian world is but a mere shadow of what it once was; and most Americans would rather show doubt or have bold straight faced denial of The Son Of God than admit the truth.
It is interesting though that every person on the planet would have no issues with you verbally or otherwise if you asked them, do you believe man walked on the moon ? Or do you believe in bursting supernova's or black holes in outer space ? So twisted man has become in his arrogance of himself and what he can accomplish. So, what's up with Jesus ?
Why all of the cumulative effort of like minded individuals, doubting God and the book of infallible words, which give truth and definition to God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit ? Well the same as The Bible tells the truth. I think as Christians, we should be evangelistic in nature, with the want laid on our hearts to spread The Word Of God.
We must also help those with misinterpreted or incorrect information. I had a family member once ask me, “how could God be The Father, Jesus Christ The Son, And The Holy Spirit all at the same time ? I normally answer that question with something I heard on a documentary called “religious” which its entire intent was to show that God did not exist; the man asking the questions, or narrating the documentary, asked the same exact question, ...only this time he asked a Christian, who answered, I will explain how God could be the The Father, The Son And The Holy Spirit all at once like this. Consider it like this, think of water, in it's liquid state it is wet and pour-able, But if you freeze it, it becomes a solid and is hard and if you boil it, it then becomes steam, Right !?! but yet it is still water. Man so simple and down to earth that answer is and yet how powerful and provocative and thought involved it is.
Another factual evident is The Holy Bible itself, just consider the age of the Bible and the year it was written in. There is no way that the authors intention was malicious in fashion and his entire intent was to fabricate a story book that would bring people to believe his book of lies nearly two thousand later.
There is some writing in The Bible that is so straight forward as to a definition of who is responsible for ALL Life. Lets look at (Genesis Chapter One, Verse One, ESV), the very first words are “In the beginning, God created" I can not see it any more clear than that sentence there. It is so hard to even imagine that our laws in which we are judged by in the court of law originated from guess where ? Yes The Bible. It says in (Exodus Chapter Twenty, verse Thirteen KJV) “Thou shalt not kill" a pretty basic law that we all are aware of, but not all people follow, yet a staple of our current law system. Or as we read in (Exodus Chapter Twenty, Verse Fifteen KJV) "Thou shalt not steal" another current value of our traditional legal system, but again not upheld by all people.
Even our traditional moral system has roots that stem from The Bible as it reads in (Exodus Chapter twenty, Verse Seventeen ESV) "You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's."
So it seems as if we owe thanks to our Creator for our moral obligations from God through The Holy Bible, His Fallible words. False teaching and those who are misinformed, can be some of the hardest people to reach with the truth. As a true example there are Mormons out there that actually believe that Jesus is the spirit brother of Lucifer, and Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that Jesus is the archangel Michael, or New Agers say Jesus is an avatar or enlightened messenger. An avatar ?
Where has society gone too ? We have moved away from the blinding truth that we are of God and Made in His likeness, we prefer the sins of the flesh over the law of our God, but hope is not yet lost for there are groups of believers who stand tall and unashamed to testify by mouth in front of others that Christ is there Lord And Savior. Remember what it says in (Mathew Chapter Seven, Verse Fourteen, ESV) “For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few."
So what's up with Jesus ? I think he has been there, here, everywhere always making available at all times the necessary tools to show his existence always, as it reads in (Revelation Chapter Twenty Two, Verse Thirteen ESV) "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."
So what's up with Jesus ? I think he has always been trying to bring all mankind to the belief and realization of Himself, I firmly believe that he protects us always as it says in (Psalms Chapter Twenty Three KJV)
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
He will not stop leaving available to us the option of free will to come to him along with all the tools needed for us to believe, all we need is our Bibles The Belief of Jesus and a Repetitive heart.
