I Had A Different Message-The Lord Changed That -The Beatitude Of The Hurting
I was going to do a post on Dan Ch One, the lord changed that. This spoke to my heart, I know this message is for someone.
I am deeply moved by the many emails I get around the world, it seems so many of the bride of Christ are suffering greatly.
It is times like this I do not know what to say, but , Pray.
I hope you are spoken to, and maybe by this short word you will feel the power of the lord, His quietness, His Peace, His love, may this be yours today.
Mat 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
This word morn in the Greek is a sorrow so strong you can not conceal it. This is proven out by the Greek meaning;
They that mourn (πενθοῦντες)
Signifying grief manifested; too deep for concealment. Hence it is often joined with κλαίειν, to weep audibly (Mar_16:10; Jam_4:9).
They that mourn (hoi penthountes). This is another paradox. This verb “is most frequent in the lxx for mourning for the dead, and for the sorrows and sins of others” (McNeile). “There can be no comfort where there is no grief” (Bruce). Sorrow should make us look for the heart and hand of God and so find the comfort latent in the grief.
Have you been at wits end? You do not know why the heavens seem brass? Suffering has made you start to question the lords love for you.
This is normal, it is the way of the cross, but we find life in death, we find the power of the Resurrection. This is not one time year , it is daily.
Have you drank bitter waters? The rivers of sorrow? It will come to and end, the lord knows his plans for you and he hears your every prayer.
I pray today reader, you are touched by the lord, you get a gaze into his eyes, and in prayer with tears dropping down, you will find true comfort in your morning. He hears.
