How To Spend The Day With ABA Father-Part of A Message From 2014

I thought this message would be fitting for this day, Fathers Day.

At This writing, it is Monday, April 28 2014, The men got done working on the roof, I arose around 1 PM, the norm for me on this third shift life, due to the 12- to 5 am Internet thing. My wife is at a friends for the day, and most of the night. I was walking the grounds, looking at the work that was done, took some pitchers, and walked some more, sat in the outside garage a little while, read Ezek Ch 2-3, walked around talking in my heart to the lord, meditating, praying. I felt alone, strange, I mean I felt utterly alone. The lord brought me after I came in the house to this psalm. The lord was telling me, today, and the next day, lets be in fellowship, the lord said, " You can spend the day with me my son". I was moved, its odd but true, so I said, " Spend the day with you lord, how, I do not understand". I do now, and it was from this Psalm the lord started to teach me. Beloved, when you ask the lord for clarification, on a word HE gives, He always will give clarification, understanding, if it is a word from HIM, and not self, 100% I have never not seen the lord, respond with insight, answer and new wonders of revelation. Psa 25:1 A Psalm of David. Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.

Psa 25:2 O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

Psa 25:5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Psa 25:11 For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.

Psa 25:12 What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

Psa 25:13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

Psa 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

Psa 25:15 Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

Psa 25:16 Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.

Psa 25:17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.

Psa 25:18 Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.

Psa 25:19 Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.

Psa 25:21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.

Psa 25:22 Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

There is a lot of messages and lessons in this Psalm, King David Wrote in his older age, we know this when he says, " Remember not the sins of my youth".

The whole Psalm 22 verses, each verse begins with Hebrew alphabet, verse one, the next, this is the first such psalm;

The twenty-two verses of this Psalm begin in the original with the letters of the Hebrew alphabet in their proper order. It is the first instance we have of an inspired acrostic or alphabetical song.

The whole Psalm is one of prayer and meditation, it can be divided in five parts, three portions Prayer, two Meditation. The orderly, prayer and meditation is where I started to see what the lord was saying, and the fact from the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet to the last, in this Psalm is the alpha and our omega, the beginning and our end, the whole life, and the whole day, hence, my day with the lord. How do we spend the day with the lord, the lesson is pointed out in vrs 5.

Psa 25:5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Part b, is the key; on thee do I wait all the day. That is spending the day with the lord, all day. This teaches us prayer, the word, meditation on the word, the things of the lord, ourselves, the lord over all, in control of all. I am loving my day with the lord. It is so clear, so easy to see, everyday we can spend the day with the lord, prayer, intimacy, waiting on Him, serving him, loving him, feeling His love, walking hand in hand, amazing, simple, profound.

I could say so much more, but after all, I am spending the day with the lord today, not my PC. He is waiting, so I have to go. Going on a field trip, spending the day with Abba Father, and now I know we can all do this, everyday, so I will get started right now, How about you?
