Those who have ears to hear and eyes to see let them hear what the spirit is saying to his church

Lam 4:6 For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed on her.

Many have said, if the lord did not rise and judge America he would have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.

I have always looked at it this way, as I read this verse it stuck up from the pages. I was hit with an insight. This verse only mentions Sodom, but both twin cities are being spoken of here.

Jer. Is lamenting over Israel’s destruction, it is a hard book to read. Prophetic lamentation, weeping for your people, your fellow believers, you nation.

Prophets are known to be weepers, real ones that is not the false ones. Prophets weep, because it is a ministry, a call of great anguish. The lord breaks, purges and refines those that will be his spokesmen. Isa in ch 6 says, ‘I am a man of unclean lips, among a people of unclean lips, and the angel took a hot coal off the alter and touched Isaiah’s lips and his mouth was purged, it works no other way.

Paul had his thorn, a messenger of Satan, the lord allowed it, why?, So Paul would not be puffed up by his revelations, prophecies and visions. A thorn is needed, a hot coal, persecutions, all to keep the voice speaking the word of the lord crushed and humble. The word says if you separate the precious from the vile, THAN you will be my spokesman.

A separation takes place, from the world, from sin, from places you used to go to, a separation from things you used to do, like T.V. to much, anything in excess is sin. A separation is necessary, separating things that are holy from the things that are unholy. Many have made peace with certain acceptable sins, you may even now see it as nothing vile at all, but the lord still does. It is only after we confront our small foxes that steal our grapes, after we are separate from the world, and come out of her my people, only than will the Prophet, the Christian, the one who speaks in anyway for the lord, be a true voice in the wilderness.

This is why our lord said count the cost, before you build, the cost of discipleship is heavy, salvation free, and some think it is legalism to say such things.

The difference is not just the separation, not just not doing things you once did, not just stopping certain habits, but the key is weeping, a burden.

The Prophets in the O.T. many times, as we see in Habb, the burden of...a burden is born in the prayer closet, secrets told to you, a weeping for a people, a situation, it is how the true word of the lord is incubated, in the prayer closet, a birth happens, the birth of a burden, it is like a seed planted by the lord this seed is watered by your tears, I see no more weeping, no more remorse, no more burden, no more caring, so few are weeping over sin, un-forgiveness, habits, that is how you experience a personal great awakening, you can not have a great awakening with out tears.

JER. is lamenting in tears, he knew , forget Sodom, my own people are, and will be judged in a harder way, Sodom was wiped out in a moment as this verse says, but the Lords people will not suffer just a moment, but a long time, as long as needed to bring those called, back to the cross.

Lam 4:6 For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom....

Reader do you understand this, what an insight to the lords Judgment on his people, it is far worse than Sodom, it is longer, no hands were stayed on Sodom, but America, the West, the world, it is different, this portion means, it was not a fast E.L.E. event, and than it was quickly done with, it means the lords hand of judgment came on his people, but was not lifted.

This prophetic burden is not an easy burden, to speak truth may cause you one day to lose your life, would this not be the time as Joel’s book spoke of for such a holy, consecrated call to assembly.

Joe 1:13  Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.

Joe 1:14  Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD,

Joe 1:15  Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

Where are the weeping people of the lord? Where is the holy assembly that is taking place where the people of the lord cry unto the LORD.

Joe 1:19 O LORD, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.

Joe 1:20 The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.

This is happening right now, in America, where is the weeping, what will it take to energize your holy, humble God fearing, weeping prayer?

Joe 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

Reader the trumpet has been blasting, the alarm has been sounding, and who cares, who believes, who weeps?

Joe 2:15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:

Joe 2:16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

Joe 2:17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

Where is the call? Why are the prayer warriors sitting idle, where are the helpers, the givers, the ones that have any burden at all.

We are in these exact days right now, yet so little care, so little concern, so little anguish, just dry eyes glued to your idols, and your own life.

You know a tree by it's fruit, of late I have seen only barren trees, the lack of anyone that cares about those who have a burden, those on front lines that are weeping between the porch and alter, the spiritual Josephs that have heard and trying to set up things for the head in sand ones, for the coming famine, where is the love, the giving, the burden, the care.

It is time to arise from sleep, it is high time to arise from slumber, awake, awake my people and weep, get my heartbeat, get my burden. I know and see first handed, and it brings more anguish, more tears as I lament over the judgment and blindness of the lord’s people.

Those who have ears to hear and eyes to see let them hear what the spirit is saying to his church
