Our God Will Save Us Even If WE are Few, Weak And Feeble

2Ch 14:11 And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee.

1Sa 14:6 And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the LORD will work for us: for there is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.

Gill;

for there is no restraint to the Lord to save by many or by few; he is not limited to numbers, and can easily work salvation by a few as by many. It is no difficult thing to him to save by few, nor can anything hinder him, let the difficulties be what they will, when he has determined to deliver his people.

And said, Lord, it is nothing with thee to help; nothing can hinder from helping, his power being superior to all others, and even infinite, and none besides him could:

whether with many, or with them that have no power; numbers make no difference with him, nor the condition they are in; whether numerous and mighty, or few and feeble; he can as easily help the one as the other, see 1Sa_14:6,

help us, O Lord our God; who are few and weak in comparison of the enemy:

Henry;

He gives to God the glory of his infinite power and sovereignty: It is nothing with thee to help and save by many or few, by those that are mighty or by those that have no power. See 1Sa_14:6.

God works in his own strength, not in the strength of instruments (Psa_21:13), nay, it is his glory to help the weakest and to perfect strength out of the mouth of babes and sucklings. “We do not say, Lord, take our part, for we have a good army for thee to work by; but, take our part, for without thee we have no power.”

He pleads their dependence upon God, and the eye they had to him in this expedition.

he was well prepared for it, yet trusted not to his preparations-

NOTE: Never let us trust in our preparations, but the lord, as all will fade away that we have at present

but, “Lord, we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude, by warrant from thee, aiming at thy glory, and trusting to thy strength.

The Lord smote the Ethiopians, smote them with terror, and an unaccountable consternation, so that they fled, and knew neither why nor whither.

They destroyed them. They fell before the Lord (for who can stand before him?) and before his host, either an invisible host of angels that were employed to destroy them or the host of Israel, called God's host because owned by him.

They took the plunder of their camp, carried away very much spoil from the slain and from the baggage.

(3.) They smote the cities that were in league with them, to which they fled for shelter, and carried off the spoil of them (2Ch_14:14); and they were not able to make any resistance, for the fear of the Lord came upon them, that is, a fear which God struck them with to such a degree that they had no heart to withstand the conquerors.

(4.) They fetched away the cattle out of the enemy's country, in vast numbers, 2Ch_14:15. Thus the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

I was outside walking the grounds , I prayed, praised, interceded for others, and after, gave my requests and concerns to the lord. When I came inside it was in the early AM, and I started to study the word. The lord spoke to my heart this message, may it speak to many others as well.

I know 100% the lord used his word to speak to me about my concerns.

What was my concern, requests? I was asking the lord to please send me some help, I can not do this without others. I said, my wife is ill, we are so few and the task ahead so great.
I can not do all the things that others leading a sub group would need. I was filled with faith, and again the lord said, 'there are more with you than those in the world'.

The message was the lord saying, 'you may be few, poor, and even feeble but it matters not', the text and commentaries bring out exactly the answer to my concerns.

Psa 71:18  Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.

I look at it a different way now. I see what the lord is saying to me and maybe some of you.

I had this message ready a few hours ago, I just now was looking for a verse and I saw Rylisms words again, the lord uses that devotion a lot, a times a tad post modern for my taste, but written for every man uneducated or educated, down to earth.

The God Who Makes Things Happen

You’re the God who makes things happen; you showed everyone what you can do — You pulled your people out of the worst kind of trouble, rescued the children of Jacob and Joseph.” (Psa_77:14-15, The Message)

The great epic event of the Old Testament was the Exodus — the day God delivered His people out of bondage in Egypt. They were in the worst kind of trouble, and God brought them out of it.

They were up against the impassable Red Sea, and God brought them through it on dry ground. He made a way where there was no way. The armies of Pharaoh were pressing down upon them, but they escaped — while the horse and the rider were drowned in the sea.

God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. The things that were written in ancient times are alive and relevant for us today. We are filled with hope in our times of difficulty as we gaze back upon what God has done in the past for His people.

And we know that even unto this very day, He is the God who makes things happen. He will make a way where there seems to be no way possible.

As turmoil increases in our world, a noticeable shift will occur in the global mindset — a shift against the Christian Faith. This shift will be the signal that the spirit of Antichrist is making its move. The world will increasingly turn against the God of Heaven and His Son, Jesus Christ, and against all those who profess Him in any manner.

Call me crazy — but it is going to happen. In fact, to the discerning eye and ear, there are signs all around us now of it already beginning. And with nut-balls calling themselves Christians, and threatening to burn the books of other religions — well, public sentiment will definitely shift. A tipping point will be breached.

And as this shift happens, we ourselves will be set up for yet another remarkable, earth-shaking act of God. He will again show the world what He can do; He will pull His people out of the worst kind of trouble, even though it means we will first have to be in the worst kind of trouble. He will not leave us there.

So when the trouble comes, then know that Deliverance is also on the way. Rejoice my brothers and sisters — we serve the God who makes things happen!

Luk 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

It does not make any sense to the mind. Lord but you know, we need others, bring help, bring those with other skills. It baffles my mind when I walk around, look, pray, on and over every spot around us the lord said we would be given to use. Beloved, it is a lot of ground and multiple buildings also across the street plunder house.

The lord showed me, the growing area, sleeping areas, security, medical, construction-sanitation, and more, it's all waiting, but people, others.

I prayed, 'Lord I can not do this', correct! but God can, and will. The last several years of desert wondering, brokenness have all lead up to this.

If you are a couple, a family, or a single person, let this speak to you, God can do anything he wants by many or few. Some are older, feeble, this is what the word is saying, it matters not, what matters is if the thing is from God, nothing can stop it.

Psa 70:5  But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.

No powerful army can withstand the warring Angels and the few feeble, small numbered people doing the same ministry we are. Nothing will keep the lord from miracles and provision, nothing can separate us from his love, the only thing that can is ourselves.

September 24, 2017 is I a few days, I can not wait, I have done all I can to warn and commented all over the place, pleading with Christians do not fall for this you will not be taken in a secret Rapture, please listen, come September 24, I pray we can move on and get back to service and not just sit and wait to be taken up to heaven.

There will be events, big ones in September 2017, I have said many times TPTB always do things in May and September, always. I posted again Albert Pikes ww3, thing. It said Christians would feel lost no direction, this non- event, will be used- Sept 23, to make Christians feel like fools, and make many feel the bible is all a lie, why do you think it has been so viral? It is a mind game and false prophecy fever that has gripped the many who will be under deception and set up for the evil to come in and take them at will.

I know it is only grace ww3 and an economic collapse have not happened yet, it is grace , all grace by our lord, to get his people into the place he has for them, but this is coming to
a close beloved, things will not be held off forever.

NOTE: the word the lord said in 2016, It has already began, and man have we seen a lot in that time up to this day.

You will see the greatest deceptions evil can try and toss at you , you will hear of words that will make you tremble, but the lord is with his remnant bride.

Stay in sound doctrine, do not let anything, no event, no news shake you, it is all the lords doing. I plead with all, stay the course. Do not be discouraged about prayers that have been unanswered, as so many of these prayerful days and nights, all the tears shed are not in vain, they are our boot camp, they are the thing that keeps us humble and Looking only to the lord as our source of all things.

This is simple , but understand, Jehovah God is our personal loving lord, he knows every hair on our head, so worry not and be in prayer, the days ahead will be hard, but we will be the ones that win. Let the lord embrace you this day, let him kiss your cheek, and hold you in HIS arms, His touch, His presence, His love, never disappoints.

I came across what Matthew Henry said concerning another part of the bible, but goes with this word.

Henry On A different portion of the bible, but read the smallest company of levites were called to the greatest task.

Numbers 4:34-49

We have here a particular account of the numbers of the three families of the Levites respectively, that is, of the effective men, between thirty years old and fifty. Observe,

1. The Kohathites were, in all, 8600 from a month old and upwards; but of these there were but 2750 serviceable men, not a third part. The Gershonites, in all, 7500, and of them but 2630 serviceable men, little more than a third part.

Note, Of the many that add to the numbers of the church, there are comparatively but few that contribute to the service of it. So it has been, and so it is; many have a place in the tabernacle that do but little of the work of the tabernacle, Phi_2:20, Phi_2:21.

2. That the Merarites were but 6200 in all, and yet of these there were 3200 serviceable men, that is, more than half.

The greatest burden lay upon that family, the boards, and pillars, and sockets; and God so ordered it that, though they were the fewest in number, yet they should have the most able men among them; for whatever service God calls men to he will furnish them for it, and give strength in proportion to the work, grace sufficient.

 3. The whole number of the able men of the tribe of Levi who entered into God's host to war his warfare was but 8580, whereas the able men of the other tribes that entered into the host of Israel to war their warfare were many more. The least of the tribes had almost four times as many able men as the Levites, and some of them more than eight times as many; for those that are engaged in the service of this world, and war after the flesh, are many more than those that are devoted to the service of God, and fight the good fight of faith.

I end with T.Austin Sparks~

/All who have entered into God's rest have rested from their labors,

just as God did after creating the world. (Hebrews 4:10 NLT)/

Christ is God's Sabbath. Christ is our Sabbath. When we enter by faith
into Christ's righteousness, we enter into God's rest. It is a
tremendous power.... The Lord says, in quite simple language, "If only
you will trust Me, and trust My provision, and stop worrying, stop
fretting, stop being anxious; if you will but believe Me, I have the
ground upon which I could meet all your need; I am no longer without
ground. There was a time when I had not the ground upon which to do
anything with you, and for you, but now you are on the ground of
Christ, the ground which I have provided; if only you will trust Me,
if only you will rest in Me to bring you through, you will be saved
from so much of this weakness, and fret, and anxiety!" Worry is a
destroying thing. At the back of a lot that we suffer in body, and in
mind, there is so often a secret, hidden restlessness, something deep
down in our subconscious being of a fret, an anxiety, something that
is not rest. It takes many forms. Sometimes over a concern of the
Lord's we feel that, unless we do it, it will never be done. We feel
that if we are not up and at it, then the whole thing will go to
pieces; so much depends upon us.

No one will think that this is the call for passivity, for abandon of
concern for the things of the Lord; but it is possible for us to have
the things of the Lord on our hearts and yet not to have faith in God
about them. There are hidden secrets to a great deal of our weakness
and defeat, and unnecessary suffering. They are the hidden things of
something which is other than just restful faith in God. There are
some people who need to take things to heart a little more than they
do, but for many the trouble is perhaps of the other kind. They are
thinking that they have to run God's universe for Him; they must look
after things or else they will never be looked after! But to observe
the Sabbath (no one will take that literally as meaning the observance
of a particular day of the week), to recognize Christ as God's Rest
through righteousness, to observe /that/, to keep /that/ Sabbath, is
Life which conquers death, because it is righteousness which cannot be
destroyed.
