Getting Things Back

Getting Things Back

1Sa 30:19 And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor anything that they had taken to them: David brought back all.

The Chapter deals with David at Ziglag. He was out to war, when the enemy came and took everything single thing they had, family included. The men were so mad they were ready to stone King David, David was so saddened, the word says, And David encouraged himself in the lord. This is step one in gaining back things we have lost, I am not talking just about material things, but spiritual things, loved ones who have gone astray, divorce, a loss of the spiritual fire and joy you once had. You can by the lords grace and power gain it all back,

You just need to go back to where you were, the place you were when all was well, that usually means fervent prayer and the word. In these troubled times, there are so many cares we all face, at times they can take over, before we know it, these cars choke the word, and we become dry, unhappy, and sometimes unfriendly. We have all been there, and many are there right now. The word is filled with promises, of our lords goodness, to whom shall we go? Jesus alone has the word of life.

A life of joy, happiness, friendliness, caring for others, the poor, peace in your home and heart, can be plundered back, your peace is taken one brick at a time, never all at once , as a tower would fall. today can be the start of a renewal of worship, praise and bible study, if you choose, some need to start who are alone, no one standing with you, no one caring , no person can help, but you start by encouraging YOURSELF in the lord, and than after your renewed go back back to the cross and claim the promises of God. Leave your ziglag to go and take back what you lost, by the enemy, or your self, it matters not, you must just go in grace and take it back.
